In A Lover & Killer of Colour, a young painter-poet translates her anger in the face of sexist and racist experiences into art. Valerie: a Woman, an Artist, a Philosophy of Life follows sculptor Valerie Maynard in her studio, on the streets of Harlem and in her printmaking workshop for kids. In Darf man etwa nicht so egozentrisch sein, a Black choir takes over the Schlosspark Glienecke on Wannsee and interprets protest songs by Black, queer singer-songwriter Fasia Jansen. Toto Bissainthe portrays the Haitian singer and actress. Together with Sarah Maldoror, she was part of the theater ensemble "Les Griots". In Le Roi N'est Pas Mon Cousin, Annabelle Aventurin conducts a series of interviews with her grandmother, the philosopher Elzéa Foule Aventurin. Together they trace her diasporic family history.
