As part of Black History Month, Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. presents two new documentary films by and for Berlin's Black communities. Produced by DADDY and directed by Kemi Fatoba, Black Joy explores the many facets of joy in Black communities, showing its importance in the context of historical movements, communities and creative expressions. Òrìṣà Devotion in Berlin traces the spiritual worship of Òrìṣà in Berlin through Candomblé and Santería. The film accompanies Joaquín La Habana and Baba Murah Soares as they keep Yorùbá, a spiritual culture which has 100 million followers worldwide, alive in the German capital. It highlights the beauty and resilience of this religious, cultural and artistic practice. (EOTO)
