When are you open?
We are generally open from Wednesday to Sunday. We open one hour before the start of scheduled events. Please check the calendar here.
Do you offer reduced tickets?
No. Tickets are 9€ which enables us to host high quality events and screenings but still remain accessible.
However, we now offer SİNEMA 10X cards for 70€. This gives you 10 tickets to use yourself or share with friends, meaning each event costs just 7€.
Do you have a monthly or yearly membership for events?
No. However, we are planning to launch a membership scheme in late 2025.

Are food or drinks allowed?
We have drinks on offer in the bar. Drinks are allowed in the cinema hall but food is not. We are soon launching Meyhane Meze plates.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed inside the cinema hall but may come into the foyer as long as our other guests do not object.
Is SİNEMA barrier-free?
The foyer and screening room is completely barrier-free through the garden entrance. Barrier-free toilets are available.
I would like to work with SİNEMA, who can I talk to?

Do you rent SİNEMA for private events?
Although we don’t rent the space for private parties or birthdays, we do rent it out for closed and corporate events and film shootings that are not associated with SİNEMA Transtopia’s program. Please send enquiries with details to office@sinematranstopia.de.
I bought a ticket for an event but now I can’t come. Can I get a refund or exchange my ticket?
No, we do not offer exchanges or refunds.
I lost something at SİNEMA!
We put everything we find in a lost and found box. Simply come by during opening hours and we will take a look.
Are there assigned seats?
Yes, we have assigned seating to ensure a smooth and organized experience for all guests when you arrive on time.
What happens if I arrive after the film has started?
If you arrive after the film has started, your assigned seat may no longer be guaranteed. You will still get a seat but not the one you booked if the event is very full. To avoid this, we recommend arriving on time!
How can I buy a SİNEMA 10X card?
The SİNEMA 10X card is available to buy online or at the box office. If you buy SİNEMA 10X at the box office you get a physical card with a CODE and PIN. If you buy it online, you will first get an email. Simply show this email at the SİNEMA box office the first time you want to use it to get your card.
Is my SİNEMA 10X card for personal use only?
No! For example, one person can use the card to come to 10 different events or a group of up to 10 people can use it to come to the same screening. You can also give a SİNEMA 10X card as a gift! It simply means you have ten tickets to use as you please at any time.
How do I use my SİNEMA 10X card?
Book your seat/s as usual through our website or at the box office using your CODE and PIN.
If booking online, simply click on the ticket link of the event you would like to attend. Select your seats and click pay with 10er-Karte. Enter your SİNEMA 10X CODE and your PIN – these numbers can be found either on your physical card or in your confirmation email. Enter your name and email address and click buy. You will receive an email confirmation.
You can also book seats at the box office with the same CODE and PIN.
I did not receive an email with my CODE and PIN. What do I do?
It might take some minutes until you receive the confirmation email. Do not forget to check your spam folder. If you have not received it within one hour, please contact the cinetixx support and they will assist. +49 (0) 89 / 552777-88 support@cinetixx.de
How do I check how many tickets are left on my card?
Click on the ticket link of any of our events. Click 10-er Karte on the top bar menu. Enter your card’s CODE. The amount remaining on your card will show in Euros. One ticket is 7€, so 14€ means you have 2 tickets left and so on.
How do I get one of those beautiful physical cards?
Physical cards are only available to those who buy their SİNEMA 10X card at the box office! Remember, you can only pay with cash at the box office! Online buyers will have to activate their cards at the box office by showing their confirmation email.
Can I use SİNEMA 10X to get tickets for sold out events?
Unfortunately, no. If the event is sold out you can try to find Abendkasse tickets but these are not bookable with the SİNEMA 10X card.
I lost my SİNEMA 10X card can I get a new one?
