On 04.09.2024 the short film Dicks That I Like and conversation with artist Daniela Torres will preceed the screening
Antonella Sudasassi Furniss gathers the intimate stories of three anonymous women, each almost 70 years old, and weaves them into a single character who reflects on these narratives within the privacy of her apartment. In the safety of anonymity, the women candidly discuss topics still considered taboo: sexuality in later life, love, sexual education, repression, and violence. By breaking the silence of a generation and pairing it with the intimacy of closed-space cinematography, this powerful film offers testimonies and lessons that resonate deeply, providing insight and wisdom from and for a lifetime.
