How can revisiting what we have already witnessed help make sense of our rapidly shifting social, cultural and political landscapes / the present moment?
On the occasion of the first anniversary of opening our space in Berlin-Wedding, SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA presents RETAKES & REVISIONS 2024, a multifaceted overview and extension of our programme to date. A rare chance to take stock and reflect on a challenging and rewarding year, it brings together screenings of films that have left a distinct impression on us with new inputs from previous collaborators. Including evenings conceptualized by festivals and curators that we collaborated with in the past year, we invite you to experience cinema as a space of social discourse, plurality and solidarity.
