KOMŞUKINO is a neighbourhood cinema that shows classic films from established film industries around the world, such as Turkey, Egypt, India and Nigeria. Screenings are accompanied not only by local food and drinks but conversation too: discussions, which happen before and after each film, are a central element of KOMŞUKINO. Here, SİNEMA is transformed into an agora: a place to experience and enjoy the social aspects of cinema, to exchange knowledge, and to share the emotions that film has the power to evoke beyond the screen. Films are shown in their original languages, with subtitles where possible. Çay is free and children are welcome.
