An 85-minute short film program that will immerse you in the remaking of history and memory. SYMPTOMATIC SILENCE OF COMPLICIT FORGETTING constructs a parallel dimension by intertwining stories from three different temporal backgrounds. Using the theory of "forms of forgetting" as a starting point, the film delves into collective unconscious silences. AN ASIAN GHOST STORY uses the export of fake hair research as an entry point, and through a blend of fiction and reality, it reconstructs the relationship between U.S. Imperialism and East Asia during the Cold War era. THE MAKING OF CRIME SCENES recreates a Taiwanese political assassination through use of 3D printing technology and actor portrayals. Through a materialistic approach, it explores how public and private memories are constructed and observed.
