Filmbildung im Unterricht – mit den Angeboten des Netzwerks Filmbildung Berlin

Netzwerk Filmbildung Berlin unites institutions, initiatives and actors involved in film education across the city. The network enables children to engage with film education in early childhood and at school, providing wide ranging subject specific and interdisciplinary content, as well as creating opportunities for the development of skills and knowledge through engaging with cinema.

This event aims to introduce film education programmes in schools and at extracurricular learning venues, museums and cinemas. Within the context of a project forum, the network will present their range of offers and their educational partners. Two workshops will use a short film and references to the presented programmes to demonstrate how film might be utilized in teaching contexts. Together we will discuss the productive potential of working with film, and how this kind of work might be presented using practical film education projects as examples.

The event will be followed by a film screening with discussion, which is open to the public.
