We cordially invite you to the BAFNET Open Air summer screening + community potluck dinner, which takes place in cooperation with Sinema Transtopia. On this evening ,we will show three extraordinary films from the German-Korean community. In the presence of the filmmakers. After the films, we will end the evening together in the foyer of Sinema Transtopia.

A young woman can't sleep. She lies on her bed and tries to read a crime novel. Half asleep, images appear before her inner eye in which dream, reality, memory and imagination intermingle. This raises the question of the effect of frightening images as reproduced by the media.

 A young woman from Korea struggles to settle down in her new home in Germany due to her lacking language skills. When she befriends a Korean-German woman she sees a way to escape her helplessness and loneliness. But her new friend doesn't seem to be as helpful as she pretends to be.
