Fellowship Programme 2026/27

Within a nine-month seminar programme, 20 selected SİNEMAplural fellows will engage with and critically explore the foundations of film education and mediation practices.

SİNEMAplural builds on the practice of SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA and aims to broaden the perspectives of film mediation in Germany, foster new access points and viewpoints, and develop innovative, diversity-oriented, and power-critical approaches. The program is designed to activate and apply underrepresented and overlooked knowledge and to collaboratively develop and test forward-thinking strategies for film mediation and curatorial practice in real-world projects.
