Filmset as Collective Kitchen

By Mohamad Moe Sabbah & João Carvalho

We cook the stories we are hungry for! What if the kitchen were given central stage, revealing precious hidden stories? Which politically charged performances take place between the oven and the dinner table? How can we convey the beauty and depth of intimate community moments with a DIY approach? This 3-day workshop, facilitated by Mohamad Moe Sabbah & João Carvalho, is an invitation for storytellers to explore intuitive collaborative filmmaking. The group will weave stories and shots around the script of a wine leaves recipe (Warak Enab). Each participant will have the chance to try out different film crew/performance positions, and most importantly, we will enjoy a meal cooked together.

Open to storytellers of all practices: filmmakers, videographers, sound recorders, musicians, performers, visual artists, writers, cooks, community organizers and tarot readers, regardless of professional experience.

15 spots at 50€ participation fee + 5 soli spots 20€
