Before the screening performance by Shaya
Screening followed by a salsa listening session with Rodo Le Fou
The fate of Cali's soulless undead rests on a single, flawless performance by the salsa superstar El Callagüeso at Babel, a legendary underground club. Their souls are held in seclusion by La Flaca, a ruthless soul gambler, and her servant, Dante. In a desperate, Dantesque race against time, Uma and Timbí scour the city’s brothels, as if they were navigating circles of hell, to find the elusive superstar.
Meanwhile, the debut drag performance of Jacob, son of a renowned pastor, threatens to derail El Callagüeso’s crucial show. In this quest, the queer, the esoteric, the supernatural, the joy, the optimism and the fantastic converge into one ultimate stage performance, a spectacle that will decide the destiny of all of their queer souls. This fantastic journey through Cali’s fictional underworld will be followed by a special salsa listening session.
