Followed by an online talk with Jian Hua Liao
In search of what remains after revolution, a confused young director turns to two aging Taiwanese activists whose lives were shaped, and scarred, by decades of resistance. Through their memories, the film revisits Taiwan’s long road to democratization not through party elites, but through ordinary people who paid a personal price for political conviction. What emerges is a moving reflection on idealism, sacrifice, and democracy as an unfinished struggle.
