Happy Together

In one of their many attempts to start over, Fai and Ho end up in Argentina, but once again their effort to save their relationship fails. Instead of visiting the Iguazú Falls together, the two Hong Kongers find themselves wandering through Buenos Aires alone and penniless.

When the seriously injured Ho suddenly shows up at Fai's door again, the vicious cycle of toxic closeness, violence, and codependency begins anew. Bound by loneliness and the feeling of being outsiders in their new surroundings, they find no escape from one another. Only when Fai quits his job at a tango bar and meets Chang at his new job in a restaurant kitchen does an escape seem possible.
