This conversation is dedicated to Black/Afrodiasporic resistance movements, as well as artistic, academic and embodied practices of remembrance and archival work as significant practices for contemporary and future activism. It will also consider love as an activist practice and explore visions and strategies for resistance in politically threatening times. (MC)

Miriam Siré Camara is the founder of akoma coaching & consulting (2014) and akoma art (2022). She has a background in communication and business psychology and many years of experience as an organisational developer, coach, facilitator and freelance curator. For over 20 years, she has been supporting transformation processes critical of discrimination and colonialism, including in art and cultural institutions.

Ireti Amojo is a former German basketball player. Since retiring from her career as a basketball player, she has been involved in various roles promoting women's basketball. She is active as a basketball TV expert and is part of an initiative for FLINTA visibility in basketball. In the anthology Unlearn Patriarchy 2, she published an essay on the structural disadvantage and discrimination faced by FLINTA individuals in sports. Ireti holds a doctorate in business informatics and now works full-time in the IT industry.

Nadja Ofuatey-Alazard ist eine deutsche Kuratorin und Co-Geschäftsführerin/künstlerische Leiterin der Schwarzen Empowerment-Organisation Each One Teach One (EOTO).

Philipp Khabo Koepsell is an afro-german spoken word performer, writer, and dramaturg. So far, he has published seven books, incl. several anthologies of poetry. As a dramaturg, he worked for the Berlin-based theatre Ballhaus Naunynstraße and independent theatre groups. For the NGO Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. Koepsell has managed the literature events as well as the inhouse archive projects, and continues to consult artists of colour regarding project management, dramaturgy, and funding. 

Nadja OIfuatey-Alazard is a German curator and co-managing/artistic director of the black empowerment organization Each One Teach One (EOTO).

Marianne Ballé Moudoumbou lives in Potsdam, where she works as a certified interpreter and researcher. She was a founding member of the board of the Central Council of the African Community in Germany, is the spokesperson for the Pan-African Women's Empowerment and Liberation Organization (PAWLO)-Masoso e.V., and is involved in numerous other organizations.
