Fourteen years after surviving an attempted femicide, filmmaker Daniela Magnani Hüller returns to the scene; not to a physical site but to the silence that followed. She gathers the voices that were both present and absent: a teacher who looked away, a detective who filed the report, a friend who didn't know what to say. She places them in empty rooms, at careful distances, and asks one quiet question: who carries the weight when no one claims the fault?

Through these conversations, Was an Empfindsamkeit bleibt explores the questions of responsibility and inaction, revealing how bureaucratic systems, social attitudes, and even well-meaning individuals can fail to protect victims.
