When Noah dies after a police check, a fateful night unfolds. For his mother, the struggle against grief and the walls of the authorities begins on the way to the hospital. Two friends who live in the same neighborhood as Noah, upon hearing the news of his death, are consumed by raging anger and seek an outlet for it. Ibrahim, a police officer, witnesses how his unit makes disastrous mistakes because of prejudice. Their four fates intertwined, one question hovers over them all: How much more do we have to achieve in order to belong in this society?

Ali Tamim was born in Berlin in 1988. After earning a law degree at the Freie Universität Berlin, he was accepted in 2015 into the bachelor’s program in directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Noah is his graduation film as a student in the master’s program.
