Invisible People is a multi layered depiction of Butoh, the unique Japanese contemporary dance that flows between revolt, eroticism, trance, prayer, ancestral experience, and physical anonymity. Taking audiences on an atmospheric journey through Japan, it dives into the stories, history, and lineage of local artists, becoming a portrait of the unforeseen twists of fate and strange microconnections that constitute life.
Alisa Berger is a filmmaker and artist born in Dagestan raised in Ukraine and Germany.
