Mondomanila Live 3000 1/2!

How To Get Ur Freak Back On Cinema
Khavn, Philippines , 60 Min.

Live Foley by Agustin Genoud; Fire-Eating, Needle-Piercing, & other delights by Evilyn Frantic; Live Free-Jazz-Punk Score by Babel Gun: Khavn on piano & organ, Katch23 on soprano saxophone, butoh breakdance, scream, 1delacruz on drums, butoh ballet, scream.

Mondomanila Live 3000 1/2! is a chaotic colored silent film mashup that merges the wild, anarchic energy of Khavn's MONDOMANILA: How I Fixed My Hair After A Rather Long Journey with the dystopian violence of ALIPATO: The Very Brief Life of an Ember. The result is an unflinching portrayal of Manila’s forgotten corners, where crime and survival are two sides of the same coin, and the future feels as bleak as the present. (K)
