SOURA FILM FESTIVAL 2026

SOURA is a Berlin-based queer film festival celebrating cinema from across Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA). Named after the Arabic word for “image”, Soura brings together films that explore queerness, identity, desire, migration, feminism, and the many ways people find space to live on their own terms. Since 2019, the festival has presented a mix of feature and short films, alongside conversations with filmmakers. At its heart, SOURA is a space for stories that challenge the status quo, cross borders, and make room for new ways of seeing.
