Following the events of January 9 2023 in Juliaca, Peru, this documentary takes audiences through the Puno region by way of the music and songs of artists from the southern Andes. Uyariy brings in testimonies from family members of the victims of the Juliaca Massacre and draws connections between these events and historical processes of repression, Indigenous uprisings, and struggles for identity, as part of Peru's recent memory.
