At your own risk

Followed by a talk with Fucking Conflicts, Annexpected - Ann Böttcher, Liad Hussein Kantorowicz, Geoffroy C. Dedenis

Enter at your own risk! And be prepared to leave the screening room emotionally unregulated. These films take a microscopic look at the raw edges of politics, sex and truths that society would rather keep buried beneath shame. These films challenge us through daring political themes and striking visual content. From innovative experimental works to raw political critique, brace yourself to be disturbed, moved, and provoked.
Trigger warning: addresses anti-Palestinian racism, contains colonial language and depiction of suicide. Please take care while watching and feel free to leave the room at any moment. (LV)

Fucking Conflicts (Iris Glitzer + Officer Flower) is a spontaneous film shooting that created a solid collaboration between Officer Flower and Iris Glitzer (pronouns of both: they/them). Together, they produced further juicy films, retaining a soft spot for storytelling, a DIY approach and a cinephile toolset.

Annexpected - Ann Böttcher is a nonbinary transmasc filmmaker, fashion designer, architect, and shapeshifting artist-creature living in Berlin. Moving through the world with chronic illness and invisible disability, they carve beauty from fragility, turning survival into art. Their work drifts between film, design, and activism, conjuring dreamlike spaces where gender, body, and resistance become luminous forms of transformation.

Liad Hussein Kantorowicz is a former longtime sex worker and sex workers' rights advocate, an artist/musician, a DIY queer trash diva, an activist and a jew from Palestine. Her 25+ years of political work with a focus on queer liberation, Palestine and sex workers' rights continue to inform and inspire her artistic work.

Geoffroy C. Dedenis is a French artist based in Paris, he’s been making videos, photos, collages and tapes since he was a teenager. Most of his creative activities combine cut-up, détournement, remix and multimedia montage techniques in which signifiers collide to reach deconditioned emotions through raw energy. Geoffroy C. Dedenis stares at the agressive aspects of lust and so-called ‘everyday reality’ people usually prefer to forget. He dismantles this base to compose new, fragmented objects in which the sleazy fuses with the sacred.

Lube Visions: A one-day festival of €r0t1c content in a city where there is almost no space for political p0rn and €r0t1c works by marginalized s€x workers.

This program brings together films that use the €r0t1c as a sharp, political tool and dream of overturning and burning down oppressive systems, imagining a new world together: juicy, pulsating, and dripping with queer desire. These are films that break through the veil of suppression and censorship.

The festival focuses on films that reflect the lived experiences of marginalized s€x workers facing multiple, intersecting oppressions and showcases works from filmmakers who face exclusion and censorship by film circuits and cultural institutions. The Lube Visions screen belongs to tr4n$ €sc0rts, migrants, and racialized people and is a space where these works are given the care and attention that is so often denied. It is a space to gather around radical €r0t1c visions, to witness their power...and to let them shake us, seduce us, and demand new ways of seeing and being! (LV)
