Brunch with Mehfil

This June, community-rooted food initiative Mehfil invites you to a communal brunch in the SİNEMA Hane garden. Grounded in South Asian culinary traditions and shaped by the gentle interweaving of other foodways and far-traveled ingredients, Mehfil is inspired by evolving family recipes and diasporic kitchens. They curate thoughtful dining experiences for contemporary gatherings in which each meal carries a story of resistance and remembrance; preserving culture, adapting with care, and passing love from one table to the next.

On the menu: a specially curated vegetarian three course Brunch!

Tickets are €20, with 5 solidarity tickets at €16

Mehfil was founded by Shanzeh Usman in November 2024 and has been hosting culinary interventions ever since.
