The Korea Association cordially invites you to the closing event of A²BC - Afrikanisch- und Asiatisch- Berliner Communities with the screening of two short films. These motion comic films, designed as an educational medium for school lessons, deal with Korea's encounter with colonialism and the overcoming of Eurocentrism and Orientalism through Korean history in the context of (de)colonialism. The first film shows 19th-century Korea and its confrontation with colonial forces while the second tells of the courageous struggle to preserve the Korean language during the Japanese occupation.

Afterwards, we invite all guests to an open networking event and a small buffet in the foyer. The event is particularly aimed at political education professionals of Asian and African origin working in Berlin. Please register online. (KV)
