Perhaps one of few recent documentaries that not only capture the harsh realities faced by sex workers in Kolkata, but also how they self-organise. It depicts founding moments and people around CAM-ON, a group which consists of sex workers, their sons, and families and is dedicated to making films. Together, they overcome stigmas about the topic and their group and create a mobile cinema in which they see and recognize themselves, their past and future on the screen. A fitting concluding remark to Cinema of Commoning 2026.
