A Litany for Survival portrays African American poet and activist Audre Lorde, whose work bridges the Civil Rights, Women’s, and LGBTQ+ movements. As a self-described “Black Lesbian Mother Poet Warrior,” she championed language, visibility, and empowerment. The screening is followed by a talk with Katharina Oguntoye, who shares personal memories and highlights Lorde’s lasting impact on Black and queer communities. (EOTO)
