The first open-air screening kicks off with a special double bill of queer longing, drag glamour, and Berlin nights. Baby Queen explores the struggles and joys of becoming a young drag performer in Singapore, and what it means to claim space in a society that often marginalizes queerness. Kotti Express follows a chance encounter between a young Chinese woman and a policewoman in Kreuzberg, unfolding into a fantastical urban fable about grief, surveillance, and queer care. The film takes playful inspiration from Wong Kar Wai’s classic, Chungking Express. (CiLENS)
