Developed by Viron Erol Vert’s class in the MA Spatial Strategies programm at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, UNDER THE TABLE is a multidimensional installation that reimagines Eastern Mediterranean table cultures as a fragile, cyclical space of destruction, purification, and renewal. A monumental, 10-meter-long table will intersect the garden, physically inverting perspectives and inviting visitors beneath it to encounter a hidden soundscape and performative rituals. Complete with pomegranates, spices, archival street cries, and Rembetiko songs, this spatial intervention aims to stage communal gathering as an open-ended catharsis of joy, rage, and liberation.
