This workshop invites participants to explore belly dance both physically and by touching on its histories, cultural roots, and how it intersects with queer, non-binary, and diverse bodies today. No prior experience is needed: this space is about joy, respect, and connection rather than technique or perfection. The only rule is simple: if you have a belly, you can move it! All bodies, genders, and backgrounds are welcome.
Prince Emrah (Emrah/she/he) is a non-binary, queer belly dance performer, activist, event creator, and producer with roots in Kurdish and Azerbaijani cultures.
