For 20 years, Déla Otimi has been trading at the Mikoko market and hopes for its renovation. When her husband, Mayor Apollinaire, finally announces construction work, the joy is great – until Déla learns that a shopping mall is planned instead of a renovation. Torn between her role as a wife and as an activist, she desperately tries to convince her husband to abandon his project. (AK)

Angela Aquereburu Rabatel, born in 1977 in Togo, studied, among other places, in Guadeloupe and Paris and initially worked in human resources before founding the production company Yobo Studios in Lomé with her husband in 2008. As a producer, she is responsible for, among others, the award-winning series OASIS. In 2025, she was appointed Director General of the Société de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision du Bénin (SRTB) S.A.
