Set during the current Sudanese civil war, Akasha is a sharply comic love story about Adnan, a young fighter torn between his girlfriend Lina and his treasured rifle. Koka mobilizes slapstick timing, affectionate irony, and moments of lyrical quiet to expose how war scripts desire, loyalty, and a masculine self-image.
