AMAN AMAN Shorts 2

Spanning the mid-1970s to the late 1980s, a programme of four shorts collectively traces lived experiences of migration to West Germany, specifically of Turkish and Greek migrant workers. Through documentary observation and poetic framing, they capture the challenges of displacement, the impact of everyday and systematic racism, and the emerging communities within the diaspora. Rarely shown in public, these works refuse easy narratives of assimilation and instead bear witness to loss, ambivalence, and resilience.
